Lanny, Birthdays, and Ultrasounds....Oh my!

My mom came to visit us last week. We had a really nice visit and she was such a great help, especially while Steven was traveling. In addition to the chores around the house, she made lasagna and sewed slings for me (and one for Zoe). They turned out so beautiful! Thank you, Mom!!

We also spent last weekend celebrating Steven's Mom's birthday and Jodie's birthday (both on the same day!). We headed to Mark & Jill's house for lunch and cake (of course). All the cousins played together and we all got to visit with each other. It was a nice time - thank you RI Lewises for hosting!

Today is my mom's birthday. Happy Birthday, Momma! We sent her lobster tails for her birthday. She said she got them on Wednesday morning and had one for breakfast. Does she like lobster or what?!?!

We also had Lily's ultrasound this week. She was born with a sacral (spelling?) dimple and they wanted to make sure it wasn't affecting her spine. The great news is that she is fine! Yippeee!!! We also had her 1 month check up this morning which also went fine. She is weighing in at 9lbs, 3.7 oz - and is in the 50th percentile for weight and height. She's doing great!!

Zoe is at preschool now and heading on a field trip to the Pfaff Center (local community center) to have a little Halloween celebration. This past week Zoe's friend Freya came over and the girls played and made Halloween houses.

My Dad and Shella also arrived safely last night. They are staying in Cambridge for the weekend and then heading out our way Monday for the week. We are looking forward to seeing them.

Here are photos from my mom's visit and from the Lewis birthday celebration. I also have a small album of Lily at 4 weeks and the Halloween houses. Password for all albums is "guest."
